When the DryPatrol team gets to your home or place of business, we immediately get to work. To preserve, protect and secure your property from further damage and reduce the overall claim cost, we immediately contain the water damaged area. We’ll do a basic floor inspection, chart the affected areas, and recommend the safest and quickest way to remove the excessive water. When you’re ready, we’ll begin installing high velocity air movers and increase dehumidification if needed. We may also recommend isolating the area of water damage and significantly raise the air temperature with our specialty heaters as the water restoration process begins.

Daily Monitoring
After all of the structural drying equipment is placed, your DryPatrol Drying Specialist will check and compare the relative humidity, temperature, and specific humidity of the outside area, the affected area, and the condition of the dehumidifiers to control and verify the drying process on a daily basis. This ongoing monitoring ensures that your space is dried out as quickly and completely as possible.

Estimate
DryPatrol will give you an upfront estimate for the immediate damage containment phase before beginning water removal. At this point, you’ll need to sign our Work Authorization form and pay your insurance policy deductible — usually $250.00 – $500.00. Your DryPatrol technician will then immediately begin removing water and/or decontaminating the affected areas. Our technicians are trained to use a specialty software approved by the insurance industry just for this task. This helps minimize the time between the introduction of water to your home and the beginning of our water removal process. The more quickly we can remove water from your home, the less likely (and less widespread) the potential damage will be.
